Kazakhstan Launches Innovative Nutritional Supplements to Boost Health for Athletes and Workers

  • Kazakhstan began manufacturing modern, locally designed nutritional supplements for athletes and people who work in hard conditions. They are intended to defeat oxidative stress, protect cellular health, reduce age-related illnesses, and ultimately enhance work performance.

The product was successfully checked up by the Kazakh Nutrition Academy according to the obligatory terms, and was registered on the territory of Kazakhstan as specialized dietary supplements. Development, testing and certification procedure took three years as noted by head scientist and senior researcher at NU NLA Sergazy Shynghys.

For athletes, elderly, and occasional users, the company has developed three different versions branded as Hormesis Oxy. The company is looking to start full-scale production, targeting the global market.

These supplements include a mixture of multiple plant-derived polyphenols, gelling agents, adaptogen extracts, polydextrose, prebiotics, and dietary fibre. They are, therefore, safe to use for diabetics.

Earlier, Shynghys worked out Qaynar supplements, which are directed towards reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Now, he is involved in the inventions and research of new ways of using antibiotics as drugs for intracellular treatment of persistent infections.

The scientists themselves are financing this supplement nutritional product, whose development and serial production will be subsidized by the Science Fund of Kazakhstan. The target annual release will be around 120,000 packages.
