As part of its dedication to providing top-tier educational opportunities, Abu Dhabi University's College of Health Sciences has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Unilabs. Unilabs is a prominent medical diagnostics firm in Europe, renowned for its comprehensive services encompassing laboratory work, pathology, genetics, and imaging across four continents.
In this collaboration, ADU's College of Health Sciences aims to provide its students with valuable opportunities to enhance their education, gain practical experience, and expand their knowledge in the healthcare sector. Additionally, drawing upon their unique expertise, both parties will introduce educational programs for students, faculty, and staff, along with organizing conferences, workshops, and seminars to explore and present the latest advancements and best practices in the field of health sciences.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was endorsed by Professor Ghassan Aouad, who serves as the Chancellor of ADU, and Mr. Mohammed Daoud, the Chief Executive Officer at Unilabs Middle East. This signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Sofyan Maghaydah, who currently serves as the Acting Dean of the College of Health Sciences at ADU, and Mr. Omar Nazmy, the Chief Finance Officer at Unilabs Middle East.
The MoU will concentrate on various significant areas within the field, such as consultancy, academic programs, institutional support, and improvements in human and administrative aspects. Furthermore, ADU's students will gain exclusive access to Unilabs' advanced medical diagnostic laboratories, offering them the opportunity to engage with experts in areas like public health, diagnostic medicine, laboratory medicine, molecular and medical genetics.
