The 8th International Cardiology Conference, organized by the Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Specialist Cardiac Centre of the Royal Medical Services, in partnership with Mayo Clinic, began with its activities on November 6 and will continue until November 9. In the two-day conference, renowned American cardiology experts share their insight, as well as discussions about the recent breakthroughs in cardiology research, new treatment techniques, and technological innovations.
The event aimed at enhancing participants' knowledge and skills to improve patient care and provide access to further resources for ongoing education.
The Mayo Clinic International Conference, held in Bahrain, marks a unique occurrence outside the United States. With around 300 participants, including cardiologists, medical students, and researchers, the event highlights Bahrain’s dedication to advancing cardiac care through the exchange of expertise.
On its first day, the conference focused on cardiac diseases, while the second day will address prevention and chronic illnesses. The third day will cover cardiac electrophysiology and vascular medicine, concluding on the fourth day with broader discussions on various topics.
