The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) has announced an exciting opportunity for learners worldwide by offering 44 free massive open online courses (MOOCs) throughout 2025. Designed to promote lifelong learning, these self-paced and open courses allow participants to gain valuable knowledge and skills without incurring any costs.
“All courses are free, self-paced, and open. Take the first step toward lifelong learning and register today!” UPOU stated in its announcement.
Upon successfully completing each course, participants will earn an e-certificate equivalent to 16 hours of training, which they can add to their resumes. To get started, users must register via the provided link (https://url.upou.edu.ph/upoumodel-signup) to create a MODeL account. Once registered, users will receive their login credentials and can proceed to change their password to enhance security.
With their MODeL account ready, users can self-enroll in a variety of courses that cater to diverse fields such as resilience, education, technology, business, and child rights protection.
