The University of Sheffield has announced 75 international undergraduate merit scholarships, valued at £10,000 annually, for students starting their undergraduate degree programs in autumn 2024. To apply for the scholarship, eligible candidates should visit the official website Sheffield.ac.uk. Applications will open in late Autumn 2023 and the deadline for submission is April 22, 2024, at 1 pm. Successful scholarship recipients will be revealed on May 15, 2024.
To qualify for the scholarship:
- The applicant's course should commence at the University of Sheffield in autumn 2024.
- Candidates must have received an offer for a full-time course offered by the University of Sheffield. All undergraduate courses are eligible except Medicine (A100/A101) and Dentistry (A200).
- Applicants should be self-funded and eligible for overseas tuition fees.
- Sponsored students are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates must enroll in the first or second year of a degree program at the University of Sheffield.
- MArch programs are categorized as postgraduate taught courses and are therefore ineligible for this undergraduate scholarship or any other undergraduate scholarships.
Applicants need to note that this scholarship solely applies as a deduction from tuition fees and does not have a cash equivalent. To be considered, candidates must furnish instances of outstanding accomplishments demonstrating excellence and initiative in educational, volunteer, or extracurricular domains.
