Representatives from the southern area, executives from Korean businesses with operations in Vietnam, and administrators from the Vietnam National Universities in Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi) and Vietnam National Universities Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM City) were present at the event. Director of VNU-HCM Associate Professor Dr. Vu Hai Quan stated that with 90,000 students, the institution is the biggest public university in Vietnam and pointed out that it acts as a supplier of human resources for the entire southeastern area in particular as well as the southern region in general.
It is implementing steps to become one of Asia's top universities. He recognized that a successful partnership between Vietnam and the RoK represents a necessary precondition for the two nations' collaboration programs, particularly the involvement in the advancement of human resources. In order to meet the demands for production and development, organizations are constantly looking for top-notch human resources in Vietnam, as stated by the spokesman of the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (KOCHAM). Vietnamese universities are able to conduct human resource development and research, stated representatives of Korean businesses and universities.
These sectors consist of IT, AI, biotechnology, components, semiconductors, and accessories, among others. Based on participants, there are multiple ways to boost human resource quality and satisfy corporate needs. In order to train and develop high-quality human resources, corporations need to motivate colleges to offer suitable training programs, collaborate on training, or utilize the facilities and individuals available on both sides.
