The Postponement of NSA allowed QU to Reopen Enrollment for Male Qatari Students

  • The enrollment has been opened for Qatari male students who have completed their secondary school degree by the end of the academic year 2022–2023, stated Qatar University (QU). This choice was made in reaction to the National Service Academy's recent declaration that students who satisfy certain academic requirements will have their national service delayed. This choice was made in reaction to the National Service Academy's recent declaration that students who satisfy certain academic requirements will have their national service delayed. Male Qatari students can still enroll until either next week or July 20. Aspiring students now have the chance to continue their university studies uninterrupted due to the reopening of enrollment.

This possibility has been made possible by the National Service Academy's decision to delay national service for students whose high school averages are at least 75% of those admitted into colleges for the academic year 2023–2024.  Dr. Omar Al Ansari, president of QU, expressed his approval of this project and reaffirmed the university's dedication to giving students a seamless academic experience. “We are delighted to reopen the admission process for Qatari male students. This decision aligns with Qatar University’s vision to offer students a seamless path to completing their education. We want to ensure that every student has the opportunity to pursue their dreams without any delays or interruptions”.

Students were advised by Dr. Al Ansari to utilize the benefit of this chance and apply as soon as possible to various universities.
