The Education Ministry will launch a comic book created by NCERT and UNESCO

  • Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister for Education and Skill Development, will present an innovative comic book named 'Let's Move Forward,' created in collaboration with NCERT and UNESCO. According to the ministry, the comic book promotes teenage health and well-being. The unique book will be released in New Delhi, according to the government. The comic book is in line with Ayushman Bharat's School Health and Wellness Programme (SHWP). SHWP, a joint initiative of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, intends to provide health education, illness prevention, and improved access to healthcare services in schools, according to an Education Ministry official.

    The 'Let's Move Forward' comic book addresses critical issues concerning teenage health and well-being. Its engaging method teaches important life skills and health information. According to the official, the book will be available in different languages. The introduction is expected to have a good impact on schools and health departments around the country, leading to a healthier and more empowered generation. The official stated that an e-copy of the comic book will be made accessible on the websites of the MoE, NCERT, UNESCO, and DIKSHA.
