The 123STEM Campus UK has opened in Sri Lanka

  • 123STEM CAMPUS’, a popular education institute in Britain to upgrade the skills of children, opened its first branch in proximity to the British Council Colombo 4. “Sri Lankan children will now have the opportunity to get special scientific education methods suitable for the new world by enrolling with us,” said President and Executive Officer of the institution, Prof. Chaminda Silva. He said that through ‘123 STEM CAMPUS’; children between the ages of 4 to 18 can participate in courses offered by us in specific new fields such as Astronomy, Physics, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Food Processing which are not offered to children in Sri Lanka.”

    “With over 15 years of experience in the education field, we have specially designed our programs to develop children’s knowledge and skills towards the STEM disciplines to gain confidence in their abilities and love for experimenting, designing, engineering, and inventing new things to prepare them for the future with the help of games and projects.” “We provide the necessary equipment related to subjects of astronomy, laboratories, and even other sophisticated equipment directly imported from the UK.”

    123 STEM Campus is an Educational Institution that specializes in fields such as Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. He said that one of the unique features of ‘123 STEM CAMPUS’ is that all these education facilities are provided for students to participate after school, on weekends and during holidays.” “We have identified more specific areas of education where the future job market lies and would be launched in Sri Lanka soon.” “We have already invested around 400,000 British pounds for the initial stage to launch ‘123STEM CAMPUS’ Britain Lecturers currently with 123 Stem Campus in the UK too will interact with students giving them more international exposure. “Our aim is to give the basic guidance and create keenness among children to be a future scientist, or gain employment in a not traditional but high paying future job.” Students will also be provided an opportunity to visit their mother university in the UK.
