Sri Lanka has the potential to be Asia's Education Hub: Sanasa University

  • Sri Lanka can be easily converted to the Education Hub of Asia by widening more education opportunities for local and foreign students, said Sri Lanka Economists’ Association President and Sanasa University Chancellor Ven. Pro. Wijitapure Wimalarathana Thera. The Chancellor made these remarks while addressing new undergraduates recruited for the 2023-2034 academic year of Sanasa University situated in Paragammana, Kegalle. Sanasa University, a green university, was enrolling new students in the Faculty of Management and Finance, with the parents also present on the occasion.

    Ven. Prof. Wijitapure Wimalarathana Thera said that education can be well utilized for the economic prosperity of the country. Accordingly, Sanasa University is engaging in widening the higher education arena of the country aiming to drive the country towards becoming the Education Hub of Asia. Moreover, no student is subjected to ragging. Several Higher education diplomas, undergraduate courses, and postgraduate courses with the approval of the University Grants Commission (UGC), registered by the Ministry of Higher Education Ministry, are provided here. The undergraduates who joined Sanasa University are entitled to obtain government financial facilities offered to study degree courses through the national banking system.
