The Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance at Shanghai Jiao Tong University proudly announced that its Master of Finance Program has reached a new peak, ranking eighth globally in the Financial Times Masters in Finance 2024 Ranking.
SAIF stated that this achievement underscores the school's status as a world-class finance education provider. The Financial Times Masters in Finance Ranking, established in 2011, is one of the most influential global evaluations of finance programs. The SAIF Master of Finance Program has also been ranked first in Asia for three consecutive years.
The 2024 Financial Times ranking comprised 65 business schools assessed on three main criteria: alumni career advancement, school diversity, and international exposure, alongside research and environmental impact.
According to SAIF, the MF Program showcased robust competitiveness and significant industry influence across key metrics in the ranking. These included a global second-place ranking in salary metrics, a third-place global ranking (and first in Asia) in career services, and a seventh-place global ranking in alumni network strength.
Cheng Shijun, executive dean of SAIF, highlighted that the ranking underscores the institute's strategy of internationalization and dedication to becoming a premier institution in finance education. He emphasized SAIF's commitment to advancing talent development and achieving excellence in both academic research and practical applications.
SAIF announced that its Master of Finance Program, open to international applicants, boasts extensive partnerships with prestigious global institutions such as Columbia University, the University of California at Berkeley, and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
