S P Jain Postgrads Snag 91 Percent Internships in Singapore and Dubai

  • SP Jain School of Global Management, recognized as one of the top business schools globally, has celebrated the achievements of its Master of Global Business (MGB) students for the academic year 2023. A remarkable 91% of the cohort successfully secured prestigious international internships in major business hubs like Singapore and Dubai. Dubai emerged as the primary choice, with an impressive 64% of students obtaining internships in its dynamic business environment. Additionally, 27% of students received internship offers from companies based in Singapore, highlighting the effectiveness of the MGB program in equipping students for success in diverse global markets.

    The internship placements highlighted a diverse range of talents, with students securing coveted positions across multiple industries. Leading the placements were the technology sector, followed by consulting, logistics and supply chain, financial services, FMCG, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and other sectors. Sales and marketing roles constituted 42% of the offers in functional domains, with finance and operations/supply chain each accounting for 20%. Consulting and analytics roles made up 15% of the offers, while other roles comprised 3%.

    Noteworthy companies extending internship offers included global leaders such as Deloitte, LVMH, Amazon, Dabur, Robert Bosch, Landmark Group, Sharaf DG, General Mills, Odex, Unilever, Protiviti, Danzas DHL, Hilti, Unimas Consulting, MBG Corporate Services, Movado Group, Himalaya Wellness, Siemens Healthineers, Stanley Black & Decker, Asian Paints, CEVA Logistics, Philips Health, Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce, Schneider Electric and others.

Even in a short span, I gained deep insights about social media marketing. I will always cherish this experience”.
