The Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry and the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) have signed a memorandum of understanding, according to reports. The agreement outlines cooperation in training diplomatic personnel and the exchange of expertise in teaching and research related to international relations. Additionally, faculty and researchers from both institutions are expected to engage actively in each other's activities.
The signing ceremony in Moscow was attended by representatives of the educational institutions and the UAE Ambassador to Russia Mohammed Ahmed Sultan Essa Al Jaber. Additionally, the head of the diplomatic mission delivered a lecture on "UAE Diplomacy and Leadership" to the students, covering the state's foreign policy, its global role, and its relationships with other nations. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Dhaheri, Deputy General Director of AGDA, emphasized that collaboration in education enhances the impact of diplomacy worldwide. He highlighted that strengthening the partnership between educational institutions in Russia and the UAE is a crucial step towards mutual prosperity.
Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Dipakademy Aleksander Yakovenko said that within the framework of inter-university cooperation it is planned to pay attention not only to the training and professional development of diplomats but also to the development of dialogue and research on topical issues of international relations.
