PM Hasina's Dedication to Improving Education Quality to Uphold International Standard

  • Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina requested cooperation from all parties to raise standards for education even further. "The quality of education has improved a lot in the country. We want to keep pace with the world standard improving the quality of education further. It is our target and we have to work for attaining the goal", she stated. The prime minister delivered the comments while speaking as the chief guest at the scholarship awarding event in 2023 with the national council of Principals of institutions associated with the National University at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Dhaka. She has given an overview of the steps taken by her government in order to guarantee an overall expansion of education and indicated that they had made every attempt to prepare future generations for the swiftly evolving environment of technology and science during the period. "We have taken steps to make the education system multidimensional. We don't want to lag behind. We have to maintain a similar pace of global education as our children are meritorious", she stated.

    She mentioned that as a part of the effort to make education diverse, universities have been developed in each district, along with four medical universities in the headquarters of each of all four divisions, an Islamic Arabic University, a digital university, an aerospace and aviation university, and medical colleges in together with science and technology universities. Prior to the advent of the fourth industrial revolution, the premier stated that her administration was determined at developing younger people as a trained workforce to meet its increasing needs at home and abroad. "We have set up 39 high-tech parks, computer incubation training centers to create scope of getting an education on Nano-technology and artificial intelligence and others so that the generations after generations can make one step ahead", she added.

    Sheikh Hasina, the prime minister, asked educators to nurture responsible pupils who could become exemplary citizens of an independent Bangladesh. "Educate the youths in such a way so they can build themselves as worthy citizens of independent Bangladesh", she mentioned. She underlined that the leaders of Bangladesh in the future would originate from the current generation. The prime minister encouraged the students to focus on their studies, show greater patriotism, and fulfill their duties for the well-being of the nation and its citizens. By offering everyone an enhanced and valuable existence and transforming Bangladesh into a Smart Sonar Bangla that is free of malnutrition, destitution, and any form of exploitation by 2041, she reaffirmed her commitment to achieving the aspirations of the Bangladeshi people as expressed as the Father of the Nation. "It is my word that I will continue my work to change the fate of the people of Bangladesh till my last breath", she added.

    The prime minister awarded scholarships to ten bankrupt, deserving, and highly needed students. 12,394 students in total 11,285 insolvent meritorious students and 1109 students with special needs have received scholarships totaling roughly Tk6,19,70,000. The prime minister also signed off on an agenda of development initiatives at the same event and presented a number of development projects, including an ICT master plan for the National University.
