OPSWAT Academy is set to introduce online cybersecurity training in Asia

  • OPSWAT, a prominent global provider of cybersecurity solutions for critical environments, has disclosed the introduction of the OPSWAT Academy Bootcamp, a three-day instructor-led training program scheduled to commence in April 2024. The OPSWAT Academy Bootcamp serves as an extension of OPSWAT Academy, a thorough and interactive cybersecurity training platform crafted to educate and certify cybersecurity professionals entrusted with securing critical environments. Having certified over 50,000 professionals thus far, OPSWAT Academy has consistently established a benchmark for excellence in cybersecurity training for Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP).

    OPSWAT will launch its inaugural in-person training globally, commencing in Dubai and subsequently in Romania, the U.S., Singapore, the U.K., and Australia. This deliberate global approach aims to make cybersecurity training accessible to professionals worldwide, fostering a collaborative learning environment and reinforcing OPSWAT's commitment to enhancing Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) cybersecurity skills on a global scale. Irfan Shakeel, Vice President of Training and Certification Services at OPSWAT, emphasized the goal of the OPSWAT Academy Bootcamp to empower customers and the cybersecurity community by providing immersive, lab-based training programs. He stated that by expanding offerings to include live, instructor-led training, OPSWAT is taking a significant step toward equipping cybersecurity professionals with the practical skills and knowledge needed to effectively safeguard critical infrastructure.

    The OPSWAT Academy Bootcamp training will encompass a comprehensive range of subjects, including policy and product configurations, deployments and configurations, and customizations. This ensures that participants acquire an in-depth understanding of OPSWAT products and their practical applications in real-world scenarios. The curriculum is meticulously crafted to deliver a hands-on experience, enabling attendees to enhance their expertise and stay abreast of the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape. Upon completing the training program, participants will receive an OPSWAT Academy certification, confirming their proficiency in Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and OPSWAT products.
