Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Noaimi, the Executive Director of Nasser Vocational Training Centre (NVTC) in Bahrain, recently held discussions with Saqib Rauf, the Ambassador of Pakistan, in a significant effort to bolster educational and training collaborations between Bahrain and Pakistan. The talks focused on enhancing bilateral ties across various sectors, including industry, energy, and technology, aligning them with NVTC's comprehensive training programs. The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation to address the skill requirements of both local and international labour markets. Under the leadership of Dr. Al Noaimi, NVTC plays a crucial role in cultivating skilled professionals capable of meeting the evolving demands of the labour market. The centre's strategic goals extend to establishing international partnerships with global training and vocational institutions.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Noaimi emphasized the center's dedication to improving Bahrain-Pakistan relations in the training sector. He highlighted the significance of aligning with 21st-century skills and the advancements of the fourth industrial revolution, commonly referred to as 'Industry 4.0'. This commitment reflects NVTC's mission to enhance the skills of its students and prepare them for the global market. Bahrain boasts the oldest public education system in the Arabian Peninsula, inaugurated in 1932 when the Bahraini government assumed control of two existing primary public schools for boys. Subsequently, separate girls' schools and various universities were established in the 20th century.
As a center, we take pride in our advanced technological and educational methods to foster and attain elevated standards of education for Bahraini youth. Our committed educators and staff deliver top-notch academic, vocational and social education that enhances learning outcomes for every student, empowering them to effectively realize their potential and future. Our core values encompass honesty, excellence, and respect. Our educational approach extends beyond classroom learning; we also collaborate with Bahraini industries for a work-study program during our students' final year. Collectively, we strive to assist each student in reaching their lifelong goals and unlocking their full potential, emphasized the director.
