The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) is pleased to announce its first appearance in the QS World University Rankings 2024 for the Post Graduate Programme in Business Leadership (PGP-BL) and the Post Graduate Programme in Finance (PGP-Finance), where it earned an impressive ranking in the 151-200 band. This accomplishment reflects IIMK's dedication to excellence in management education and its increasing impact on both national and global platforms, according to a statement from IIM Kozhikode.
IIMK’s one-year MBA program, PGP-BL, was launched in 2019, while the inaugural batch of PGP-Finance was inducted in 2020. IIM Kozhikode's success in the QS rankings is further supported by its strong global outreach, featuring partnerships with more than 70 international universities. The global perspective adopted by IIMK enhances students' learning experiences and offers them exposure to international markets and their practices, as noted in the IIM Kozhikode statement.
“IIM Kozhikode’s PGP programmes have maintained their global position in the master’s in management rankings at 151+ rank, reflecting the institute’s sustained commitment to high-quality management education and its influence within the academic community”.
Among 206 programs from 38 countries, IIMK has achieved a ranking of 73rd in thought leadership with a score of 50.6. It ranks 101-110 in employability (global average score: 50.1) and falls within the 151+ range for alumni outcomes, diversity (global average score: 64.8), and value for money (global average score: 69.3), as stated by IIM Kozhikode.
As per the IIM Kozhikode’s official statement, the QS Global MBA Category 2025 rankings, IIMK’s PGP-BL programme excelled with 59,068 employer nominations, reflecting significant industry trust. “The PGP-BL programme was ranked 131-140 in employability and showcased a strong performance in return on investment and leadership. The programme also highlighted its competitive edge in a landscape of 340 global institutions from across 58 countries”.
Conversely, the PGP-Finance program made its debut with a ranking of 151-200 in the QS Masters in Finance 2025 category, backed by strong nominations from employers and academics. The program also achieved commendable rankings in employability, thought leadership, and diversity, highlighting areas for further growth and development, according to the IIMK note.
