IIM Lucknow's 38th Convocation: 785 Graduates Celebrated

  • The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) celebrated its 38th annual convocation, a momentous occasion commemorating the academic accomplishments of 785 students across various programs.

    Distinguished figures such as Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Chairperson of the Board of Governors at IIM Lucknow, and Archana Shukla, the institute's Director, graced the ceremony. Mallika Srinivasan, Chairperson & Managing Director of Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, served as the Chief Guest, adding prestige to the event.

    The breakdown of degrees awarded showcased the diversity of academic pursuits at IIM Lucknow. The 38th Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA) saw 504 graduates, while the 19th batch of the Post Graduate Programme in Agri-Business Management (MBA-ABM) celebrated 56 graduates. The Doctoral Programme in Management (PhD) and the Executive Fellow Programme in Management (PhD) conferred degrees upon 18 and 6 students, respectively. The 8th batch of the Post Graduate Programme in Sustainable Management (MBA-SM) boasted 41 graduates, the 6th batch of the International Programme in Management for Executives witnessed 106 graduates, and the 18th batch of the Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives awarded degrees to 54 students.

    In recognition of exceptional achievements, several students received prestigious medals. Abhishek Mittal was honored with the Chairman’s Gold Medal in the Post Graduate Programme in Management, while Deeksha Khatwani received the Director’s Medal. Bismita Sahoo and Sohini Sau were awarded the PGP Chairman’s Medal and the Hari Shankar Singhania Medal for Best All-Rounder, respectively. Sushobit Malik received the Chairman’s Gold Medal in the Post Graduate Programme in Sustainable Management (PGPSM). From the International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX), Aishwarya Kumar and Munish Kanna were bestowed with the Chairman’s Gold Medal and the Director’s Medal, respectively. Rashmi Mittal received recognition with the Chairman’s Gold Medal in the Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE)
