Veeksha was purchased by Google-backed edtech platform Adda247 for an unknown sum in order to provide students with 3D experiences. Veeksha, a company based in Ahmedabad, produces 3D educational content as a way to innovate and improve the learning experience.
"With Veeksha, we plan to simplify complex concepts into simple 3D visualisations, virtual experiments, and explanatory videos and ultimately lead students to perform better," Anil Nagar, Founder and CEO of Adda247, said in a statement. Through this acquisition, the edtech platform will provide interactive learning modules to its users' pupils, enabling deeper conceptual understanding through improved visualisations.
Veeksha will also be incorporated into Adda247 as a result of the transaction, creating comprehensive vision synergies. According to Gaurishankar Singh, Co-Founder of Veeksha, "Adda247's large user base and our capacity to create 3D visualised content can pave the way for exciting advancements in education with AR/VR."
For modern students who favour learning on digital devices, Veeksha provides immersive 3D mathematics and science courses. The company claims that both teachers and students can use its cross-platform immersive and experiential learning modules. By offering the most recent 3D/AR/VR experiential learning tools, the company claimed it will improve its position to serve K12 and JEE/NEET aspirants in conjunction with Veeksha.
Currently, Add247 has more than two million paid subscribers and 50 million monthly active users. The business raised $35 million in October 2022 from well-known investors like Google, WestBridge Capital, Infoedge, and Asha Impact.
