GMR School of Aviation, GMR Aero Academy, and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance specialized training and professional education in the aviation industry.
The partnership aims to develop joint training programs, including diplomas, degrees, credit transfers, and specialized courses in areas such as aviation safety, security, airport operations, cargo management, and customer experience. It will also facilitate the design and delivery of Bachelor’s and Master’s programs specializing in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, along with internships and placement opportunities for students.
By leveraging their combined expertise, the institutions will focus on innovation, safety advancements, sustainability, and emerging aviation technologies to equip professionals with industry-relevant skills.
Ashok Gopinath, President & Accountable Manager of GMR Aero Academy and GMR School of Aviation, highlighted the significance of the collaboration. “This MoU represents a major milestone in our commitment to shaping the future of aviation.
