GD Goenka University Sets up Moot Court Hall on Campus to Strengthen Legal Studies

  • The Gopi Ram Goenka Moot Court Hall, a brand-new, cutting-edge facility for the School of Law at GD Goenka University, has officially launched. A chance for law students to refine their abilities while preparing for the future of legal studies in India will be provided by the Gopi Ram Goenka Moot Court Hall. With 200 pupils capable to take their seats comfortably, this advanced facility is furnished with modern conveniences.     The annual Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ClArb) Moot Competition, which is going to take place at the Gopi Ram Goenka Moot Court Hall, serves as one of the centerpieces of the academic year at the School of Law. The hall will additionally host several national moot court challenges, reinforcing its status as a crucial component of the institution's signature events. Dipak Mishra, a former chief justice of India, hailed the School of Law at GD Goenka University while his remarks at the ceremony for being essential in assisting law students develop their identities as professionals by interacting with activity-based learning while highlighting the increasing need for lawyers in India.

    The fact that the newly designed moot court hall is going to encourage students to succeed in their legal professions, he added. Other notable visitors at the event have been prominent attorney Pinky Anand, A.C. Kher a former DIG (Prison, Tihar Jail), and Pavan Duggal, cyber law specialist and AOR, Supreme Court of India, who all attended the ceremony. Renu Goenka, chancellor of GD Goenka University, witnessed the ceremony.
