Galgotias University signs an agreement with United Arab Emirates University, UAEU, to strengthen collaboration in academics and research innovation and global engagement. It is a significant step toward the achievement of global academic excellence by this university.
A delegation from UAEU, led by Dr. Saifuddin Ahmed Kabir, Senior Research Impact & Rankings Specialist and Associate Provost (Research), and Ms. Ghalia Alahbabi, Director of University Outreach, met with the leadership of Galgotias University to discuss areas of cooperation. The key focus was on fostering academic partnerships, advancing research impact, and promoting joint initiatives in educational innovation.
The UAEU delegates appreciated the speedy transformation of Galgotias University under the aegis of its CEO, Dr. Dhruv Galgotia. The delegates appreciated the outstanding achievements by the university such as ranking at 45th position in Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2025 India and QS World University Rankings 2025 standing in the 621-640th band for Asia. Advanced research capabilities of the university, state-of-the-art laboratories, and strong collaborations with the industry were also presented.
Particularly noteworthy for the UAEU delegation was G-SCALE by Galgotias University, a student-centered active learning ecosystem, that integrates research into industry with global academic collaborations. This novel model will ensure students get experience-based learning and internships at an international level while accessing state-of-the-art technology.
The partnership will open the avenues for joint research, faculty exchange, and student mobility opportunities. There are plans to collaborate in teaching curriculums and in interdisciplinary research projects.
