ECAE launches Ethraa program for UAE's Arabic and Islamic teachers

  • The Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE) has introduced the Ethraa Professional Development Program in collaboration with Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH) and Emirates Schools Establishment (ESE). This initiative targets the improvement of expertise among teachers of Arabic language and Islamic education. The program is designed to cater to the specific professional growth requirements of these educators by providing workshops and activities concentrating on both subject-specific knowledge and teaching methodologies.

    This involves elevating both the expertise and practices of Arabic language and Islamic education teachers to support their preparation for professional licensing exams. Additionally, it aims to enhance their proficiency in utilizing educational technology and multimedia tools. The program fosters an innovative and interactive educational setting, nurturing teachers' abilities to evaluate student progress effectively and provide valuable feedback and guidance to improve academic performance and student development.

    Dr. May Al Taee, Vice Chancellor of the Emirates College for Advanced Education, expressed the institution's objective of refining the skills of UAE-based Arabic Language and Islamic Education teachers. She emphasized the importance of realistic, constructive, and ambitious strategic plans developed in collaboration with key partners.
