Chula Ranks First in THE Asia University Rankings 2024 for Thailand

  • Chulalongkorn University has secured the leading position in Thailand as per the 2024 THE Asia University Rankings. Among the 19 Thai universities evaluated, Chulalongkorn University has notably surged by 102 spots compared to its previous ranking, out of a total of 739 participating universities.

    The university's exceptional performance in the THE Asia University Rankings 2024 has elevated it to the top spot in Thailand and 117th in Asia. This achievement is credited to its remarkable performance across five crucial indicators: Teaching (24.5%), Research Management (28%), Research Quality (30%), Industry (Industry income and Patents) (10%), and International Outlook (7.5%).

    Chulalongkorn University has also earned recognition by making it to the list of the world's top 50 universities for employment outcomes. This acknowledgment reflects both the high rate of employment among Chula graduates and the desirability of their skills in the job market. Additionally, the university has maintained its status as the best in Thailand for the 15th consecutive year, dating back to 2009, as revealed by the recently published QS World University Rankings 2024. This achievement has propelled Chulalongkorn University to 211th place globally, a significant improvement from its previous ranking of 244th.
