Over a hundred education department officials and university rectors from China and Mexico have gathered in Beijing to discuss potential areas of collaboration. Mexican officials claim that Mexican students are especially eager to learn Mandarin. They believe that educational exchanges should be given more weight in addressing global issues. Chinese officials also point out that China has been digitizing its education system and has entered a high-quality development phase.
