Apeejay Education partners with Korean Cultural Centre for exchange programs

  • Apeejay Education has consistently led the way in offering comprehensive education centered on acquiring a wide range of skills and fostering a lifelong commitment to learning, equipping individuals to effectively tackle life's numerous challenges. In line with this dedication, Apeejay Education has taken a notable step forward by setting up a structure to enhance educational exchange initiatives, cemented through the formal agreement by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korean Cultural Centre India (KCCI).

The MoU was endorsed by Dr. Neha Berlia, Co-Promoter of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Joint Secretary of Apeejay Education, and Pro-Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, alongside Mr. II Yong Hwang, Director of the Korean Cultural Centre India. Witnessing the signing were Ms. Sunjune Min, who heads the Education Team at KCCI, along with Ms. Ishani Ranjan and Ms. Vidhi Jain, Education Assistants at the Korean Cultural Centre India. This MoU paves the way for the establishment of a collaboration known as the Korean Cultural Centre India – Apeejay Education Partnership Project, also referred to as the School Project.

The partnership endeavors to promote cooperation across a spectrum of domains, including the provision of Korean language curriculum classes and hobby courses, promotion of Korean traditional art forms like Taekwondo, and collaborative educational ventures. These initiatives encompass activities such as the Korean Cultural Centre India Tour, Korean Cultural Experience Workshop, and an exchange program involving all Apeejay Schools and Korean counterparts.

Additionally, the agreement entails active participation in cultural events supported by KCCI such as 'Korea-India friendship contests like quizzes, essays, etc.', 'Korea Day Event', 'Korean festival', etc. Sharing his thoughts, Mr II Yong Hwang, Director of Korean Cultural Centre India, expressed his delight in Apeejay’s educational legacy of more than 50+ years, founded under the visionary leadership of Dr Stya Paul, Founder Chairman.

Dr Neha Berlia, Co-Promoter, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Joint Secretary, Apeejay Education, and Pro-Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, expressed her passion for delivering an exceptional value-driven education that prepares each student for a life-long journey of growth, learning and success.  Emphasizing the holistic approach to education, she highlighted. “The commitment to providing the right energy and opportunity to nurture confident and self-reliant students from a young age”.
