USA best option for Indian students pursuing higher education abroad

  • The number of  Indian students moving abroad to get enrolled in higher education has increased drastically. There has been an increase of 35% in the students travelling from India and the count finally settled at 2,68,923 in the academic period 2022-2023. Indian students comprise more than 25 percent of the over one million foreign students studying in the United States. India exceeded China to become the primary source of international graduate students in the United States for the first time since 2009-2010. India has seen rapid growth in the number of Indian graduate students, which has grown by 63 per cent from 64,000 to 1,65,936 as compared to the previous year. The increase in undergraduate students has also been acknowledged.
