University of Asia Pacific Signs MOUs with International Universities

  • Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) formalized between University of Asia Pacific (UAP) and SIAS International University at Henan, China, and Washington University of Science and Technology, Virginia, USA. The MOUs were signed during the General Assembly of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) at the Beijing Conference Center, China.

    These MOUs ensure the fact that UAP is having a strong relationship with the international linkages with such institutions of repute. SIAS International University is the most internationalized university of Henan Province since it has more than 30,000 full-time students and very famous as far as international prominence is concerned about both Western and Eastern approaches towards education in the campuses.

    The MOUs were signed between UAP Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan and Prof. Dr. Lucy Lu, Provost and Vice President of SIAS International University.

    Washington University of Science and Technology is fully accredited university from 2008 by Dr. David Sohn and the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and also recognized by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). The institution is also authorized to enrol non-immigrant students under federal law.Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor of UAP and Engr. Abu Bokor Hanip, Chancellor of WUST signed the accord.

    Under the terms and conditions of the MOU, the universities will engage in joint higher education programs and research. The MOU facilitates the exchange of academic materials, joint conferences, internship opportunities for students, international conferences, and also workshops together with organising programmes for faculty staff and student exchanges.
