At the start of the new academic year 2023/2024, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) urged students to enjoy their educational journey and seize all available opportunities to realize their aspirations. The Ministry greeted students and parents at the start of the academic year 2023/2024, wishing them a successful year and emphasizing its willingness to assist them. On this occasion, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Maha Zayed Al Ruwaili stressed the importance of school leaders in leading and encouraging students and teachers and expressed confidence in their ability to deal with obstacles. Today, over 132,000 male and female pupils attended school in 279 public schools and kindergartens, in addition to kids attending private schools and kindergartens. which have completed all preparations to receive them.
Administrative cadres and teaching staff at schools began work to make the required preparations for the arrival of pupils and the distribution of already printed class schedules and textbooks. Back-to-School is being organized by the MoEHE with the tagline "My School is My Second Home." The campaign will run till August 29th. It was preceded by the three-day annual educational meeting 2023/2024. The MoEHE and the Ministry of Interior worked together to protect the safety and security of pupils in the area of schools and kindergartens throughout the preparations for the new academic year.
