Qatar's advancements in the education sector receive global acclaim

  • Qatar's commitment to educational transformation and advancement has garnered global acknowledgement, securing leading positions in both the educational and employment arenas, as highlighted by Dr Ibrahim Saleh al-Nuaimi, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in an interview with Qatar TV. Dr. Al-Nuaimi pointed out that Qatar holds the top position for the lowest unemployment rate among graduates from higher education and vocational and technical education.

He also highlighted Qatar's 39th rank in the global knowledge index, emphasizing the country's advanced status in the human development sector. These achievements underscore Qatar's commitment to enhancing the education sector and creating an advanced and appealing educational environment for students. Dr. Al-Nuaimi commended the crucial role of parents in contributing to the development of the educational process.

    Dr. Ibrahim Saleh al-Nuaimi highlighted that Qatar has been selected among the top five countries to lead the education transformation, following an invitation from the Secretary-General of the United Nations. The integration of e-learning systems, artificial intelligence, and the advancement of digital transformation has become an integral aspect of Qatar's educational strategic plans. The country has been proactive in incorporating technology into various teaching and learning processes from the early stages, aiming to prepare learners for the demands of modern life. Al-Nuaimi emphasized Qatar's distinctive practice of honouring individuals of excellence across various fields, with students and teachers in the educational sector being recognized for their outstanding achievements. Looking ahead, the Strategic Plan for 2023-2024 will introduce initiatives and programs to enhance kindergartens and the pre-kindergarten stage, making them integral components of the overall educational process.
