In a significant move toward advancing global art education and fostering cultural exchange, the Positive Energy Art Foundation has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with seven universities in Thailand. The participating institutions include the Faculty of Decorative Arts at Silpakorn University, the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Thammasat University, the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Bangkokthonburi University, the Office of Arts and Culture at Phuket Rajabhat University, the Faculty of Fine Arts at Bunditpatanasilpa Institute of Fine Arts, and the School of Informatics at Walailak University.
This collaborative agreement is designed to facilitate an exchange of knowledge and resources, with a shared commitment to cultivating global human resources and advancing the field of art for diverse segments of society. The formal signing of the MOU took place today at the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University in Thailand. The ceremony was attended by key individuals, including Prakash Kishore, Founder and Director of the Positive Energy Art Foundation, Dr. Nawat Lertsawaengkit, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts, Silpakorn University (also serving as the Honorary Director of the Positive Energy Art Foundation) and Dr. Thanatorn Jiarakun, Dean of the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University. Deans and representatives from the other participating universities were also present to celebrate this significant occasion.
The Positive Energy Art Foundation, devoted to close collaboration with educational institutions and organizations at national and international levels, seeks to enhance the art community at both state and country levels. With a mission to contribute to society, the foundation has pledged to participate in diverse art initiatives in association with local, national, and global partners, establishing a firm presence in the worldwide art scene. Based in Shillong, the foundation prioritizes the upliftment of tribal communities and the promotion of their distinct art, craftsmanship, and indigenous talent.
