O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) has announced the award of over 2,000 scholarships to eligible students for the 2024-25 academic year. The decision to grant over 2000 scholarships to the incoming class of 2024-25 is to mark JGU's 15th anniversary, which will be commemorated in 2024. More than 60% of new students enrolled in 2024 will be eligible for these scholarships to study at JGU as a result of this. Professor Raj Kumar, a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University who received full scholarships to study at Harvard University and Oxford University in the late 1990s, stressed the significance of instituting substantial scholarships at JGU this year by emphasizing that "these are not just financial aids; they are transformative opportunities." They provide access to world-class higher education for people who might otherwise be denied it owing to financial restraints."
