Transforming education through Sustainable Technology

  • Leading corporation "Next Education", which is a SaaS-based end-to-end education service provider has hooked up with Selco Solar India Pvt Ltd in an exceptional initiative to promote educational access and sustainability across India. This step has been proven to be very important towards spreading eco-friendly and leading-edge technology in schools throughout the country. Schools in regions including Dharwad, Belgavi, Chickmagaluru, Yadgir, Hassan and Tumkuru have been pinpointed and it marks the beginning of the transformative journey.

    The partnership also includes key NGO partners such as the Menda Foundation, Youth for Seva and Selco Foundation, which played an important role in propelling the project forward. As a result of this partnership, Next Education’s digital classroom solutions, known as Teach Next, were consistently integrated with Selco’s renewable solar energy solutions. Selco India’s clean energy idea gave rise to the advancement of schools by incorporating digital education and also it found ways to employ technology to optimize organizational and individual performance over four years. This partnership unveils the tremendous potential of solar-powered digital classrooms to transform education while assuring sustainability and accessibility, chiefly in the areas not getting enough help, products or services.

    Some of the key points of this collaboration include the involvement of 1200 schools in Rural Karnataka and elaborating further on more than 200 schools in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Bihar. This broad reach ensures that the benefits of the initiative are felt across an extended geographic area. Additionally, the achievement of over 1400 solar-driven digital classrooms has created a transformative learning environment. This action has also had a direct impact on students, teachers, and local communities, magnifying its positive effects across both the educational and social contexts.
