At a special event attended by college staff, family, and friends, graduates from New City College were celebrated and acknowledged. More than 100 students received certificates during the impressive Graduation ceremony hosted at NCC Redbridge campus. Principal Alison Arnaud extended a warm welcome to the graduates and their guests, emphasizing, "Education surpasses a mere certificate. Your attainment symbolizes advancement, individual growth, and potential. Seize the opportunities it offers and acknowledge the accomplishments you've achieved thus far".
New City College boasts a lengthy history spanning nearly four decades in providing Higher Education. Recently, a new and promising chapter has commenced through NCC's collaboration with Bath Spa University. An innovative University Centre has been established at the Hackney campus, heralding a period of anticipation for the mutual advantages this partnership will bring.
During the ceremony, graduates were acknowledged and rewarded for their achievements in diverse fields such as business, education, engineering, counseling, human resources management, construction, sports, science, creative arts, and social work. Additionally, postgraduate degrees were conferred. Higher education programs are administered across the Hackney, Redbridge, and Ardleigh Green campuses, with aspirations for an expanded array of courses as the alliance with Bath Spa University flourishes.
