MoU signed between Jahangirnagar University (JU) and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies

  • Aiming to enhance the eductaion and resrarch, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Jahangirnagar University (JU) and the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies from Japan. The signing event took place in the conference room of the Vice-Chancellor's office of the university. The MoU was signed by Professor Dr Rasheda Akhtar, the Treasurer of Jahangirnagar University, and Professor Masahiko Togawa, representing Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. Following this agreement, educators and students from the departments within the Faculty of Social Sciences of Jahangirnagar University will have the chance to engage in various activities, including mutual learning, research, publishing, and seminars. The signing event was attended by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Md. Nurul Alam, Pro-VC (Administration) Prof. Sheikh Md. Monzurul Huq, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Dr Mohammed Mostafa Feeroz, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Professor Bashir Ahmed, as well as Professor Masood Imran from the Department of Archaeology and Professor Dr Ranjan Saha Partha from the Department of Anthropology, among others.
