Leaders from UA and PHEI attend CAECW in China

  • The University of Antique (UA) was a member of the Philippine delegation to China to forge strong partnerships with Chinese and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) during the celebration of China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week (CAECW) in Gui'an New Area, Guizhou Province, People's Republic of China. Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., president of UA, joined Dr. J. Prospero De Vera III, chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Dr. Lily Freida Milla, director of International Affairs Service, and presidents and representatives from other Philippine Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) to form the Philippine delegation, which participated in a series of thematic parallel sessions on higher education, sustainable development cooperation, industry-education-research-academic collaboration, and international.

    During the celebration of China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week (CAECW) in Gui'an New Area, Guizhou Province, People's Republic of China, the University of Antique (UA) was a member of the Philippine delegation to China to forge strong partnerships with Chinese and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., president of UA, formed the Philippine delegation, which included Dr. J. Prospero De Vera III, chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Dr. Lily Freida Milla, director of International Affairs Service, and presidents and representatives from other Philippine Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs).

    "As we establish cooperation with China and the ASEAN nations, we will have a tremendous opportunity to broaden our perspective and reach." There are many wonderful things that various nations' HEIs may undertake together.Mariano Marcos State University, Bohol Island State University, Isabela State University, University of the Cordilleras, University of the Philippines - Diliman, UP Open University, Jose Rizal University, Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas, Panpacific University, University of Perpetual Help System, University of Santo Thomas, World Citi Colleges, and Mabalacat City College were among the members of the Philippine delegation.
