IUB Delegation Visits China and Signs Memorandums of Understanding with Various Institutions

  • On an official invitation from TANG International Education China and other Chinese Institutes, a delegation from Islamia University of Bahawalpur, comprised of Registrar Prof. Dr. Moazzam Jamil, Principal UCCM, Director Pak-China Cooperation Center (Focal Person) Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Asif, Assist Prof. UCCM Dr. Khalil Ahmed, Lecturers UCCM Hafiz Abdul Sattar and Rabia Zahid, visited China. Mr. Li Jinsong, President of Tang International Education, and his team members greeted the delegation warmly. Members of the delegation visited China's top-ranked institutes.

    The tour was a huge success in terms of achieving win-win cooperation in education, innovation, and informatization, as well as strengthening higher education cooperation, exchanges, industrial-educational integration, and modern talent cultivation in vocational and technical education between Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Chinese Institutes. Under the CCTE model, three parties have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen the CPEC health corridor through mutual collaboration in education, academia-industrial cooperation, research and innovation, student exchange, faculty training, international seminars, and workshops.

    The Islamia University of Bahawalpur delegate recognized and praised the CCTE collaborative model in promoting TCM education with its majors through the China-Pakistan Economic Cooperation Health Corridor, student exchange, faculty training, and TCM technology transfer from Chinese institutions to Pakistan. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur will be the first institute in Pakistan to offer a TCM degree or diploma program that includes all of its major disciplines.
