Education Ministry Talks Internship Training for Kyrgyzstan in Japan

  • A meeting was held at the Ministry of Education and Science between Deputy Minister Lira Samykbaeva and the leaders of a Japanese employment company.

    The two sides discussed opportunities for collaboration in personnel training and the implementation of joint educational programs.
    The parties considered issues of exchanging experience between the countries and got acquainted with the company's activities. Particular attention was paid to interaction with higher education institutions of Kyrgyzstan, in particular, the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn and the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev.

    The company expressed its readiness to annually accept up to 100 interns from Kyrgyzstan for professional training in Japan. The internship program covers areas such as nursing, hotel and restaurant business, transportation services, and culinary business.

    Before being dispatched to Japan, the interns will undergo extensive training, including lessons in the Japanese language and culture, as well as professional skill development. Upon arriving in Japan, further training will be provided to enhance their qualifications.

    The company also expressed its commitment to supporting the interns after the program ends, assisting them in applying the knowledge and skills gained in Kyrgyzstan. This initiative aims to strengthen the workforce and elevate professional standards in the regions.

    Both parties agreed to continue discussions on the terms and processes to launch the practical implementation of the program soon.
