Chulalongkorn Engineering, 17 Partners to host SISTAM 2024

  • Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with 17 prominent organizations, including Exposis, the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan), and the Thai Institute of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry (TIChE), is organizing 'SISTAM 2024' - an event focused on Smart Industrial Safety & Technology for Advanced Maintenance. This groundbreaking exhibition and conference, scheduled for September 26th and 27th, 2024, at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), is poised to become Thailand's most comprehensive platform for showcasing safety and advanced maintenance technology.

According to Prof. Dr. Supot Teachavorasinskun, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University, SISTAM 2024 represents a significant milestone as Thailand's largest event of its kind. It aims to promote innovative technology adoption to enhance safety and maintenance standards while boosting efficiency in Thai industries. The event will serve as a crucial meeting point for enhancing competitiveness and driving sustainable development in the Thai industrial sector. Moreover, it offers valuable learning opportunities for government agencies and the education sector to explore new innovations. Additionally, it provides a marketplace for manufacturers, distributors, and enthusiasts of advanced safety and maintenance technology to discover a wide range of products and engage in trade and business exchanges.

Chulalongkorn Engineering anticipates that the integration of predictive AI will play a pivotal role in enhancing industrial safety. As SISTAM 2024 enters its second year, it aims to expand its scope as a conference-led exhibition by featuring a comprehensive array of exhibitors showcasing safety and advanced maintenance solutions. These exhibitors will cover various areas, including digital technology, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and safety equipment. The conference, themed "3S Smart, Safe & Sustainable Technologies Toward Tomorrow," will feature discussions led by experts from academia and industry. It will emphasize the integration of IoT for smart maintenance and the role of AI in advancing smart factory technologies.
