Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is rapidly setting the pace of education and development, in the area which was once affected by terrorism, educational institutions have been established due to the efforts of Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North. Like other important institutions in the field of education, Cadet College Mamad Gat located in District Mohmand is a unique institution of its kind. 97 cadets have graduated from the Cadet College established in 2020 and are studying in reputed colleges and universities of Pakistan. Apart from this, former students here have also got commission in the Pakistan Army.
The current strength of cadets in the Cadet College Mamad Gat is 500, in which students from all over Pakistan and especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are studying. For the promotion of education in the merged districts, 50 seats have been allocated in each entry for tribal children by Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North. While 10 special seats have been allocated for the children of martyrs. After the establishment of cadet college in the area, a large number of tribal people are determined to enroll their children. The local people are thankful and grateful to the Pakistan Army for providing high quality education facilities, who have made sacrifices to establish peace, law and order in the area and gifted the best cadet college to make the future of the children of the province bright.
