Indonesian students won first prize in the Social and Behavioral Science category, second prize in the Biochemistry category, and fourth prize in the Medicine and Health Science category during the prestigious international event held at the National Taiwan Science Education Center in January 2025, in Taipei. The Indonesian teams had to compete against the best brains from 28 countries. Prior to traveling to Taiwan, the students had to undergo a strict selection process in which they had to submit their research proposals for evaluation. Once selected, they had to compete with other promising young scientists from countries like the United States, Switzerland, Italy, and Canada by showing off their innovative research projects. The Social and Behavioral Science Category winners were Matahati Sabri, Maleeka Aqiila Januar, and Jannaisya Aufilia.
