India's pioneering Artificial Intelligence institution, Universal Ai University, has joined forces with the esteemed design institution Rubika to establish a Design School on its Karjat campus. Hailing from France, Rubika is renowned globally for its design education, with campuses in France, Canada, and Reunion. Together, the partnership will deliver comprehensive programs including a four-year Bachelor of Design (B. Des.) and an integrated five-year Master of Design (M. Des.) specializing in Transportation Design, Product Design, UX/UI Design, Animation, Video Game Art, and Video Game Design. Future offerings will expand to include Digital Design, Interaction Design, and Tech-art in subsequent years.
Under this collaborative effort, RUBIKA will contribute its curriculum and teaching standards, along with providing access to its esteemed faculty for Universal AI Design programs. As part of the initiative, students will have the opportunity to utilize the cutting-edge studios at RUBIKA India in Pune for a nine-month internship spanning two semesters in the first and third years. Key program highlights include project-focused teaching methods, a curriculum aligned with industry standards, immersive hands-on learning experiences, and exclusive masterclasses conducted by leading design professionals from around the globe. Additionally, students will enjoy 24/7 access to laboratory facilities.
