Diriyah Company and London Business School Sign MoU in Riyadh

  • Diriyah Company and London Business School have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on training, development, and joint research initiatives. This partnership aims to enhance the skills of Diriyah’s talented 2,000-strong workforce and enable both organizations to conduct focused and relevant business research.

The MoU was signed by Jerry Inzerillo, CEO of Diriyah Company Group, and François Ortalo-Magne, Dean of London Business School. The agreement was part of the Great Futures conference in Riyadh, which aimed to strengthen strategic ties between Saudi Arabia and the UK, featuring many leading Saudi organizations.

This partnership with London Business School complements Diriyah Company’s existing collaborations with various prominent UK businesses working on diverse projects within Diriyah. The conference, attended by over 300 UK business leaders led by UK Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden, provided Diriyah Company with opportunities to explore new investments and future collaborations.

The collaboration with London Business School is expected to facilitate valuable research and offer new learning opportunities for Diriyah Company’s team members both in Riyadh and London. This is especially significant for the 83 percent of Saudi employees within the company.

Diriyah, Saudi Arabia's premier historical, cultural, and lifestyle destination, plays a key role in Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. Established in 2023, Diriyah Company is part of the Public Investment Fund’s (PIF) portfolio of giga projects and is responsible for developing the Diriyah project, the birthplace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Through this partnership, Diriyah Company aims to leverage London Business School’s expertise to further its development goals and enhance the capabilities of its workforce. The collaboration will not only focus on immediate business needs but also contribute to the long-term strategic objectives of both institutions, fostering a deeper connection between Saudi Arabia and the UK in the process.
