GLOBIS and Royal Academy Unite for Leadership Development in Oman

  • GLOBIS Europe and the Royal Academy of Management (RAM) have established a strategic partnership. As part of this collaboration, GLOBIS will contribute a module to the Future Leaders Program scheduled from June to December 2024, representing a notable achievement in GLOBIS's growth in the Middle East.

In early 2024, GLOBIS competed with 10 prominent international firms to secure the opportunity to develop a module for RAM's 'Future Leaders' program. GLOBIS was selected based on its distinctive leadership development methodology, deep knowledge of Japanese business strategies, and established a reputation for driving innovation and excellence globally. Drawing on over three decades of experience, GLOBIS will utilize its extensive network of industry professionals and insights to assist RAM in achieving its objectives.

A signing ceremony was held on June 6 at the Embassy of Oman in Tokyo, marking the beginning of the partnership between GLOBIS and RAM. A distinguished delegation from RAM visited Japan to participate in this occasion, further solidifying the commitment to excellence in leadership development and paving the way for future collaborative endeavors.

Beginning in June and concluding in December 2024, the Future Leaders Program will highlight a critical module presented by GLOBIS in September. GLOBIS's contribution will be instrumental, offering an intensive learning experience during this period. Following a rigorous selection process from among 5,000 applicants, 50 exceptional participants will be chosen to partake in this exclusive opportunity, embarking on a week-long immersive journey across Japan.

While in Japan, participants will undergo extensive leadership training, develop their mindset, and gain hands-on practical experience. They will delve into Japan's unique hybrid approach, known as wakon yōsai, which has played a crucial role in the nation's growth. The program features interactions with seasoned business experts and visits to leading organizations, offering invaluable perspectives on Japanese business methodologies.

Alongside on-site training, participants will receive access to GLOBIS Unlimited, an online platform featuring self-paced learning modules to enrich their educational experience. The Future Leaders Program, integrating comprehensive training, cultural immersion, and digital resources, aims to mold future global leaders. The strategic alliance between GLOBIS and Oman's leading institution for learning and development marks a significant achievement in GLOBIS's expansion across the Middle East. This partnership highlights the region's dedication to international collaboration, innovation, and exceptional standards.

To deepen this partnership, Yoshito Hori, President and Founder of GLOBIS, will travel to Oman in October. During his visit, Hori will participate in a panel discussion with Omani officials and RAM partners to explore opportunities for further collaboration. Additionally, GLOBIS University is in the process of seeking accreditation from Oman's Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, demonstrating its dedication to the region.
