Dow and Teach for All Grow Partnership to Boost STEM for Underserved Youth

  • Dow and Teach For All are expanding their collaboration to bolster recruitment, professional development, and placement of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) teachers. This initiative will continue to focus on underserved schools in Bahía Blanca, Argentina; Chiba, Saitama, and Ishikawa, Japan; Lagos, Nigeria; and Tarragona, Spain. Additionally, they are launching new efforts this year in Plaquemine, United States.

"Through our funding, Teach For All was able to reach more than 10,000 students, and this year, we are excited to expand our work to include educators and students in Louisiana". By partnering with organizations such as Teach For All, Dow is committed to ensuring equal access to STEM education, supporting the development of educators, and enhancing students' preparedness.

    Teach For All is an expanding network of autonomous partner organizations and a global entity dedicated to cultivating collaborative leadership aimed at enhancing educational standards for every child and overcoming obstacles hindering their learning and success. The network has expanded to encompass 62 partners across six continents, supporting over 13,000 current teachers and boasting a community of more than 100,000 alumni.

    Dow's partnership with Teach For All has yielded significant educational outcomes, including the recruitment and training of 62 STEM educators through its programs. These efforts have resulted in up to a remarkable 30% enhancement in student performance across the countries where the initiatives were implemented. Dow's commitment to supporting Teach For All underscores its dedication to fostering educational excellence and empowering future generations through targeted STEM education initiatives globally.
