UOW India Campus comes with exciting scholarship programs for Computing & Fintech programs

  • The University of Wollongong India (UOW India) has recently introduced a new financial aid initiative called the "Inaugural Scholarship" for prospective students interested in Computing and Fintech degree programs, with enrollment beginning in November 2024. This scholarship aims to provide a substantial financial incentive for applicants who submit their deposit payments before October 4, 2024.

Specifically, the scholarship offers a 50% reduction in tuition fees for the first trimester of Master’s degree programs and a 25% discount for graduate certificate programs. This initiative is designed to make these advanced educational opportunities more accessible to a broader range of students, helping ease the financial burden of higher education.

The launch of the "Inaugural Scholarship" follows the announcement of the FinTech scholarship, which was specifically aimed at encouraging female candidates to pursue careers in the rapidly growing field of financial technology. Together, these scholarships reflect UOW India’s commitment to supporting a diverse student body and fostering greater inclusivity in fields like computing and fintech, which are integral to the future of global business and technology.

By offering these scholarships, UOW India hopes to attract top talent and empower students to gain the skills needed to excel in today's competitive job market, particularly in industries that are increasingly relying on technological innovation and financial expertise.

During November, UOW India will introduce a range of graduate and postgraduate programs, including a Master of Computing (Data Analytics), a Graduate Certificate in Computing, Master of Financial Technology, an extended Master of Financial Technology, and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Technology.

Students require having an undergraduate degree or relevant work experience and a satisfactory level of English language assessment to get through the admission process.
